About Us

Welcome to the Rocketry Guide

The Rocketry Guide is a product of work blood and sweat for the rocketry community.   Much of the information is both the legacy fo forum posts and the product of years model and high power rocketry.   The goal is to provide a community for our members to be able to share what they know about rocketry and contribute back to the community and hobby we love.  It will include tips and tricks from a low-powered  to high-powered kit and scratch-building in a more usable format than forums or discussion boards.  Hopefully, you will not only use it but contribute to it in the future.

The rocketry guide is here to help you learn about new techniques, share tips and tricks, and find that missing piece that will help you become a better builder and flier.  Whether you are new to the hobby, a return born again rocketeer, or an old curmudgeon that has been doing this for years (me), this site will have something for each of us.  The key concept is Learn and Share.  Even the most junior person can think of a new means to tackle an old problem.

Thank you to all that have made this site possible,  Your contributions have added to the knowledge of many.  You will notice that this site doe not contain any ads for products.  I intend to keep it that way.  If you find it useful, please donate or contribute by adding your tips or techniques (or both).  We welcome your comments and suggestions, (send us a note with our contact us form.

Keep the rockets flying!
